Jorge “Funky” Matas may be best known to the general public as the Guiness World Record Holder for “Most Signatures Tattooed On One’s Back,” most recently adding Floyd Mayweather to his collection of close to 250 celebrity autographs, but to his community of loyal fans, he’s the Concierge of Charitable Acts. After surviving a near-fatal motorcycle accident, Funky dedicated his life to happiness and giving back to other people, which has fueled a movement of followers committed to the same goal.
Funky has leveraged his influence to redefine the millennial philanthropist, engaging with his more than 2.4 million social media followers to determine where - and how - his next avant garde charitable act goes down. In June, Funky and his team will head to Gambia, where they will help build a school with profits from their NFT project.
