GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY HOSTS THE 23RD ANNUAL CELEBRITY SWEAT FLAG FOOTBALL CHALLENGE®

PHOENIX, ARIZONA: (January 10, 2023): Celebrity Sweat®, the #1 celebrity lifestyle brand is back with its 23rd Annual Celebrity Flag Football Challenge® Saturday, February 11, 2023, 1:00 PM-3:00 PM MST, in Phoenix at the Grand Canyon University Stadium. Doors open at 11:00 AM MST with an awesome, super-fun tailgate zone, offering activities, prizes, giveaways, and food. There will also be an exciting half-time show featuring “Fighter Country Talent”, an amazing rock and roll band composed of Active Duty Military from Luke Airforce Base. “We’re thrilled for this year’s 23rd Annual Celebrity Flag Football Challenge®,” said Lisa Levine, CEO of Celebrity Sweat.
“This annual event allows the entire community to participate in the excitement of Super Bowl Weekend, always bringing the best of athletes and celebrities together to support Military and First Responders.” The Celebrity Flag Football Challenge® is a family-fun event, open to fans of all ages. Up to thirty athletes and celebrities will play in the competitive flag football game, and First Responders, Military Service Members and their families from across Arizona, are invited as special guests. The 23rd Annual event will feature Pro Basketball Hall of Famer, Tracy McGrady, and his Pro Football Hall of Fame captain, Michael Irvin, as they prepare for what could be their toughest challenge yet. In the past two years, Team T-Mac has emerged victorious, however this year’s opposing QB will be no cake-walk, as Robert Griffin III confidently steps onto the field with Doug Flutie as his captain! Can the two Heisman Trophy winners take down the champs?! Other celebrities and athletes currently scheduled to participate include Anthony Anderson, Rob Riggle, Justin Gaethje, Sean O’Malley, Diplo, Wale, Shawn Marion, Frankie Muniz, and many more.
NBC Channel 12–Arizona will cover the Game live locally, with national coverage expected, as well.
