Dr. Motley: Helping to Heal in Mind, Body and Soul

Dr. Christopher Motley holds a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Logan University and is certified in acupuncture, applied kinesiology and clinical kinesiology. Dr. Motley holds a diplomate in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine through the DABCA board. He has been in private practice for  over 20 years in Franklin, Tn.

Chinese Medicine training involves the study of the biogenetic system, known as Qi, acupuncture meridians, herbs, supplements, and movement therapy such as Qi Kung and Tai Chi.

Kinesiology is a therapy that works at restoring muscle function to allow proper movement in the  whole body. Every muscle in the body is controlled by a few major factors: acupuncture meridians, organ function, lymphatic flow, Neuro-vascular function, muscle injury, and emotions. Applied Kinesiology and Clinical Kinesiology are health therapies that investigate, test, and fix each muscle for the root problem.

Dr. Motley works with in-person patients, and virtual patient consults from around the world. His clinic has treated a wide range of patients: from the youngest 1 day-old baby, to the professional athlete, to the 96 year old grandparent.

The clinic specializes in helping individuals with Lyme disease, liver methylation, parasites, SIBO, viral infection, hormones, chronic structural problems, neurological conditions, and fertility issues.

Dr. Motley relates all health conditions to the emotional programming and trauma that repeats their patterns. He incorporates acupuncture, neurofeedback, and clinical kinesiology therapies to help release emotions.

The focus in Dr. Motley’s practice is identifying the chronic habits that are causing health problems. Understanding the emotions behind those patterns are key in a patient's recovery. Thankfully, he has seen many clients heal, due to their drive and persistence in seeking a healthy life. Dr. Motley believes that he is just there to be part of the journey and help guide and treat when he can. The patient is the one who truly helps themselves heal.

Motley currently hosts a hit podcast called <The Ancient Health Podcast. Here he shares his advice on a wide variety of topics.
