Mesmer’s path to success has been marked by overcoming immense adversity. In 2016, after being defrauded by his largest client, Mesmer faced a $3.5 million loss, leaving him with no reserves or income. Instead of succumbing to these challenges, he pivoted his business model to focus on pre-engineered steel building erection. His commitment to meticulous planning and hands-on training transformed RMG Erectors & Constructors into a global leader, erecting over 5 million square feet of buildings annually.
Personal Struggles and Professional Triumphs
In 2021, Mesmer’s resilience was tested again when a tornado destroyed half his home, and shortly after, he suffered a heart attack and a stroke. Despite these personal setbacks, he channeled his determination to lead RMG to new heights. Under his leadership, the company has not only expanded its footprint but also vertically integrated its operations, becoming the only firm in its market segment to control the entire process from raw materials to final warranty.
Diverse Ventures and Market Disruption
Beyond RMG, Mesmer is the founder and CEO of Iron Will Racing, LLC, a professional prototype race team, and RMG Luxury Services, LLC, a startup disrupting the luxury transportation sector with Black car SUV and jet services. His ability to identify and capitalize on unique market opportunities has led to the development and sale of two other successful businesses in the past 15 years.
