As a dentist, Dr. Parihan Tamkin excels at not only keeping her patients’ oral health in great condition, but she reaches out and engages with each patient, forming a partnership where they work together. She takes the time to educate her patients about their home dental care practices and is always willing to answer questions, clarify information, and provide helpful guidance. All of this is offered with a kind and friendly smile, as Dr. Tamkin loves her work and the fact that it allows her to make a positive change in the lives of those she cares for.

In addition, Dr. Tamkin is a staunch believer in furthering her professional knowledge, through attending continuing education offerings at lectures, seminars, and conferences. Learning about advancements in treatment techniques and technologies ensures that she is able to stay at the forefront of her field and provide her patients with the widest array of proven dental care options. She was the recipient of The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Award for Excellence for her achievements in cosmetic dentistry as well as Honors in Care for the Special Needs Patients.
Dr. Tamkin is Also an International graduate in the top five of the graduating class from Jinnah Medical and Dental College where she received additional training in Oral Pathology and Oral Surgery.

Personal Life and Community Involvement
Dr. Tamkin was born in Iraq, but was raised in sunny Boca Raton, FL.
Believing that everyone should have access to dental care, Dr. Tamkin has volunteered through Henry Schein to provide dental services to underserved communities both nationally and abroad.
Dr. Tamkin’s desire to help others who are less fortunate has been apparent in her involvement with many charities from oral cancer, breast cancer and Give Back a Smile..
As a Chair for the Give Back a Smile foundation, her focus is providing smile restoration to victims of domestic and sexual abuse. She believes a smile strengthens ones’ soul and encourages them to build the strength to move in life with confidence. During her spare time Dr. Tamkin enjoys raising her baby boy, traveling, working out and enjoying time with family and friends.
